Special Residential Policy for Innovative Urban Design

Biomimicry Frontiers helped three landowners attain a special residential policy for their 17-hectare property in the City of Guelph. In this project, we helped the clients navigate the municipal process and the challenges associated with a Secondary Plan amendment, and limited infrastructure on their properties (i.e. water and sanitary). Our process included community engagement, scenario planning, iterative design strategies, and technology integration.
